Running Bat file that requires folders:

So, in a nutshell, I am trying to use the Trend Micro Worry Free Business SA tool to uninstall old versions of Trend so I can push the web version to over 200 machines. I am using PDQ Free currently. The bat file asks for Y/N for a restart when you run it. It also requires the files in a folder. Is there a way I can easily push that out with PDQ? This has been driving me nuts lately. I can't uninstall old versions by using MSIEXEC and I can't seem to install over older versions because trend is password protected.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

  • PDQ Free doesn't support nest/multiple step package.

You will need to build 3 packages and run them in the following order.

    1. Run New-Item -ItemType directory -Path C:\$Your_Folder_Path

    2. Copy the file into C:$Your_Folder_Path

    3. Run bat file

If you want the easy way to get it done, you may consider upgrading to enterprise version
