IE11 out of band patch to Windows 10

I've just downloaded PDQ Deploy & Inventory and trying an understanding of everything still. Last month Microsoft released an Out of Band patch for Internet Explorer 11. We use Windows 10 and still have a number of machines running 1793, 1803, and 1809 builds.

When I create a new package for this update I can see in the Conditions tab to set to Windows 10 but I cannot find a way to select the particular builds for Windows 10 and each build has it's own KB and download for the out of band patch.

How would I go about deploying Microsoft KB4483230 to just Windows 10 1793 builds and say MS KB4483235 to only the Windows 10 1809 builds?

  • Here's one way. Make each step the patch for a particular version, and add this condition for the step, customized to match that windows build.

  • Kudos to you.I really like the power of PDQ, sometimes just got to use some out of the box thinking. Thanks so much!
