Inputting a string into a text field in a installer

Hello everyone! My work is deploying new phone software and were trying to make it as automated as we can. The script i've written uninstalls the current software then installs the new one. Only issue is that when the new installer is opened, we need to enter a server name into the box shown below. Sadly i'm unsure how to do this or if its even doable. If anyone has any tips or answers anything would be grateful!

Thank you!

  • We just migrated from Shoretel to Mitel Connect a few weeks ago. The answer is no. However, there IS a way to setup Mitel to auto populate the server address field if you click on "Use Windows Credentials" three times. I don't recall how though. My director set this up and is out traveling right now.

  • Hmm sounds interesting. If you figure out how to do it, please let me know! Trying to save myself from having to do it remotely on 200 computers!

  • I think you will want to use SRV records in the DNS. I don't have an account to view this page, but I think this may help you set it up. https://oneview.mitel.com/s/article/How-to-Automate-Connect-Client-Login
