Find apps that use Java

With Java now going to a subscription service, I want to see what apps in my environment use JAVA. Any way I can make a report that scans the command line for the java.exe reference?

Unless there is another way to see if an app uses JAVA. Trying to mitigate the cost. Going to the community supported version of JAVA is a no go.

  • JRE is free. Java SE and Java JDK require subscription. If you guys are not doing any Java development work, there is no cost to run Java apps on JRE.
