Wake on LAN packets being sent to...Egypt?

We have discovered that there is some type of Wake on LAN packets that are being sent to Egypt and this is part of the PDQ inventory software process. Has anyone heard of this happening?

Does PDQ have some type of server/device in Egypt?

Please send an email to support@pdq.com and list the IP address(es) you are seeing. My guess is that one of your devices had an LTE modem at some point that Inventory picked up, and that IP has been reassigned to someone in Egypt.

Sorry I should have clarified. We see multiple devices in multiple offices sending WOL packets that appears to be from PDQ Inventory. If there is nothing related to PDQ Inventory in Egypt, I will block those packets.
