Custom variables?

Trying to tie one last piece together with a process i'm trying to do. I have a custom field populated with a number (asset tag) in inventory which i want to input into a package cmd line to get that set within the machines bios. Is it possible to get a variable i can use which references this custom asset tag for each machine entry and pass that into deploy so that i can mass set the asset tags in the bios? I'm trying to do this from a data consolidation point of view so i'm aware that i'm basically not gaining anything besides moving the field from one area to another within pdq
