Custom Field Variable by IP?

I am coming over from Lansweeper, so far PDQ is vastly better. There are a couple of things I did in LS, however, I'd like to try and do in PDQ.

LS had a section where you can enter an IP range and name it for a location. They then would display a field for IP location, so you knew what was where. I have this in PDQ as a dynamic group but I was wondering if anyone had tips or ideas in getting this as a custom field (or feature update to have this in PDQ native as a general field). It was really handy in LS.

  • Custom fields do not update automatically and would either need to be updated manually or by importing a file (csv). Dynamic group would be the best as you mention. That is what I currently use and have not found a better way yet.

  • Thanks Patrick, I assumed so. Would be a nice field for PDQ to add built in
