Dynamic Collection Expression

I was thinking the best way to make a collection how I want is with an expression. On the knowledge base the beginner's guide link is dead, so I am looking for help.

I want to make a collection for all of our laptops teachers can checkout. They are named LT-(school two digit name)CO-**, so LT-HSCO-01 or LT-PVCO-02.

I have a collection that's Matches Pattern and LT-??CO-* which works except we have a teacher or with a similar laptop name. I was thinking with an expression it would only look for the 6 two-digit letters. I am thinking this is simple for someone who understands it but with that link gone, I can't start to learn.

Thanks

  • Matches Expression uses .NET RegEx. RegEx Hero is the most useful tool I've messed with for building a Regular Expression.

What's an example machine name this filter wouldn't work for?

  • LT-(HS\PV\VV\PI\CM)CO-** it should match. Anything else it should not.
