Schedule in Deploy not using Inventory credentials

I have different Administrator passwords for various computers, and I'm not using LAPS. When I scan with a selected Admin account, the computer scans successfully.

On a schedule that I've had made for a while, I ticked the box to use Inventory credentials first, but it is still failing to deploy, claiming bad username or password. I even added the credentials to PDQ Deploy, used the "Test Credentials" button against a computer reporting the logon failure (which passed the test), but the schedule still will not work.

What can I try next? Do I need to delete the schedule and re-create it?

  • Does updating to Inventory 17.1.0.0 and Deploy 17.2.0.0 help?

  • Wow, I just got this... I ended up uninstalling, and reinstalling from scratch, and copying my database back into place. All of a sudden, it used the correct credentials for that group

  • I get this issue as well. For this machine it ignores the "Use PDQ Inventory Scan User credentials first, when available." I have other non-domain machines that this checkbox is working on ironically.
