PDQ Inventory is Unable to See Computers Online

I am running PDQ Inventory on my local workstation. When running a Heartbeat against certain workstations. PDQ shows the workstations offline. I go to cmd prompt and ping the workstation in question to verify online status. I am able to successfully ping via DNS. Any suggestions on what might be happening?

Be sure your two (or more) DNS Server under the network settings are internal ones. Don't use a external DNS Server (like evil Google 8.8.8.8), even not if the first is internal, because there is no rule which one is used first.
