AutoDesk 2019 silent install issues

In trying to deploy pieces of AutoDesk 2019 (Revit 2019 specifically), my deployment job fails with a 1603 error. But I can't tell which of the many dependencies it's failing on.

The command line I use in PDQ to deploy is as follows:

"\clientdomain\dfs_share\Autodesk_Replication\Autodesk 19\AEC Collection\Deployment\Revit 2019\Img\Setup.exe" /W /qb /I "\clientdomain\dfs_share\Autodesk_Replication\Autodesk 19\AEC Collection\Deployment\Revit 2019\Img\Revit 2019 (Silent).ini" /language en-us

I can't seem to find logs that tell me what is failing. Is there a way to get more verbose logging that anyone can think of?

  • Hello,

first of all you have to try use "" in front and after Revit 2019 \Deployment\Revit 2019\img ---> \Deployment"Revit 2019"\Img

the other thing I always do when I install Autodesk products is, I install Autodesk Material Library before in this case the 2019 version you can find the msi on this location in your image:

    Img\Content\ADSKMaterials\2019\CM\MaterialLibrary2019.msi

my command line to install Revit 2019 looks klike this:

    \server location"Autodesk Revit 2019"\img\Setup.exe /W /q /I Autodesk Revit 2019.ini /language en-US
