Inventory Powershell replaced with CMD

I recently noticed that the Powershell window when running tools has been replaced with a CMD window. The server hosting the PDQ installation has since been rebooted. For the most part, this is not a problem but a couple of my tools now throw up errors. I can copy the script and change it slightly to specify a certain computer, as opposed to using one of the built-in PDQ variables, and it works fine. I can also go to 'Help' then select 'Open an elevated Powershell prompt' and it works as it should. I got one of my colleagues to try it from their computer, and it does the same thing.

Any suggestions on things I can try?

  • Can you send screenshots of the issue you're having and exports of the problematic tools to support@pdq.com please? We were able to reproduce part of the issue, but not all of it.

  • Apologies for not replying sooner. I didn't get any emails to say that there was a response. I will put something together and send it off.
