Select AD Target locks up and Domain Admin Account locked out

When ever I select the "Select AD Target" PDQ deploy locks up. I have tried this with 16 and 17 with same results across different computers. I am evaluating this product and the first thing I tried to do, select AD target locks up. Also the PDQ service locks out my Domain Admin account every 15 minutes, is there a way to ask for the current domain admin password and the service start on demand?
