PDQ Inventory causing system freeze

I have been trying to run pdq inventory with a full license and it keeps freezing on me. Version 16.5.0.0 Enterprise

The computer is a dell 5055 w a ryzen 7 1700p 16GB of ram and an nvme hd.

    Update - This is only happening when i scan a collection. If i scan a single machine it is not happening.
