Suppress message and reboot step

Is there any way to suppress the message and reboot steps of an individual package when run from a package bundle? thanks

  • There is not, you would want to use a different package that does not have those messages configured in that nested package. This should get you the desired behavior.

  • Has there been any updates on this topic where we can manually choose to suppress messages in bundle of packages. It would be a nice feature as I don't think anyone wants to add yet more clutter to their package library and have to update any changes to 2 different packages.  I'm not sure about the person who opened it but the issue I have is we push many pieces of software to our new machines and these prompts delay the install time quite a bit. We want the prompts when we are only pushing/upgrading a single piece of software as we need to let the End User know what is going on.
