WMI Query for Laptop Mobile Broadband Information

I'm looking to see if anyone has a better handle on WMI than I do.... I have 200ish laptops in the field and Inventory gives me just about anything I could ask for on them with just one exception. I'm trying to find a way to have it automatically grab some of the Mobile Broadband data from the units as well. I'd love to just have it give the aircard's phone number, but even an IMEI and/or ICCID (SIM) number would be great.

It all comes down to having 5 different systems to update every time you give a new asset out to the field. If someone misses a step filling out the paperwork, you lose track of who has which thing or, in my case, which phone number belongs to which laptop.

Anyway, I know that I can grab that information using netsh, but I don't have a good way to record it automatically, and I'd love to just be able to have inventory scan for it so I can have it populate a custom field or even just have a report available.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

  • Came across this today and there are no answers here.  I also need to know details like IMEI of the SIM card in our deployed devices.  Is there a way to accomplish this in PDQ Inventory?

  • Same here.  I'd like to be able to make a scanner to get the IMEI info off of our Surface Pro devices.
