Uninstall Not Working

So I'm testing out PDQ Inventory with the 14 day trial period and I seem to be hitting a snap with the uninstall feature. I right the the application and select uninstall. The subsequent windows opens up with the correct parameters, settings, etc. When I execute, it runs and returns an error code of 0 but the program is not removed. Here is a screenshot of the results. Ideas? enter image description here

  • Only .msi software packages creating a correct (silent) uninstall entry.

Use google to find the right parameters if you try to uninstall a oldschool .exe silently.

In you case, here is the silent uninstallation switch:

    ........\Pidgin\pidgin-uninst.exe /S

  • Got it. Didn't realize the /S was a requirement. It is now working, thank you.

  • Sometimes its /Q or /q or /S or /s or /Quiet or /Silent or none of those. If it's not an MSI it may not even have a silent uninstall but there is always a way.
