Having trouble launching an EXE using CMD

Hey all,

I'm working on a really simple script to try and launch Nitro Pro 11 from PDQ onto a target machine.

So far, what I have is:

Step 1: IF NOT EXIST "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nitro Pro 11" MKDIR "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nitro Pro 11"

Step 2: Move appropriate files to the newly made file (no reason to include directories)

Step 3: cd/ cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Nitro Pro 11 start nitro_pro11.exe /qn

This works completely fine when I just use it on the target machine, but trying to use it on PDQ, it say successful but step 3 never actually initializes. I've tried a bunch of different silent parameters and have experimented to my current limit. If anyone has any idea, it'd be greatly appreciated.

  • Try changing the Run As option for Step 3 to "Logged on User".
