Switching on network discovery

Newbie question here I've done an AD sync on inventory and i've got a a lot of PCs showing offline when i know they're not. When i go on to them and switch network discovery on, they pop up and show that they're online. Whats the best was to deal with this? I don;t want to have to go around all my PCs and change it manually. I've tried switching it on via GPO but not had much luck. Is there a way for PDQ to work with network discovery switched off?

You can create a PDQ job with a command of:

netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group="Network Discovery" new enable=Yes

and then modify the package to not ping before sending.

You should be able to send this out to your environment.
