Shutdown/reboot schedule not working properly

In the last couple of weeks the schedule I have set to shutdown the PCs at night seems pretty spotty on when it works. I found several computers that hadn't been shut down for 10 days when usually all machines are shutdown nightly. The effectiveness of the shutdowns was good when all the computers were attached individually but when I changed the schedule to be attached to my dynamic groups it became a little wonky. Nothing like what has happened in the last couple weeks though.

I've gone in and selected all the machines and for the most part they rebooted when I told them to but then I check later and the schedule to shut them down isn't behaving properly.

My trigger is M-Th at 10 pm. It shows that it ran yesterday at 10 but when I scan my inventory the computers say they have been up for 2 days instead of a fewhours when the BIOS turns them on in the morning.

Any ideas what I might look at to troubleshoot this?

  • I just watched today's video and am wondering if the answer they posed to a very similar question is the key. I've unticked the the checkbox for "Stop deploying targets once they succeed. Why this would be an issue now when it wasn't before I'm not sure but this is worth a shot.
