"AD Is Disabled"

I see this column in my inventory, and a lot of my machines are showing "Unknown" for this field, but some are showing "Enabled" (and these are machines that are on our domain and IN Active Directory). I've searched your knowledgebase but can't find any information about this column....

What exactly is this column supposed to inform me of? O_o

  • Not sure where you are seeing this error, could you post a screenshot or write into support@pdq.com we'll be glad to help you there as well.

  • That column was added in 16.1.0.0. It shows whether or not the target is disabled in Active Directory. "Unknown" could mean the target hasn't been scanned or is not joined to AD.

  • It's not an error - it's a column in PDQI:

  • Thanks for clarifying. "Target is Disabled in AD" is much more easy to understand than "AD is Disabled" 😄. However, it's still confusing when "Enabled", "Disabled" and "Unknown" are the possible states. It would make more sense if the states were "Yes" or "No". (Yes, the target is disabled in AD, or No, the target is not disabled in AD).

    Thanks again for the info.
