Finding out installed powershell version

Hi all,

It's probably a very basic question, but where in PDQ Inventory can I find what version of powershell is installed on the client computers?

When creating a new Dynamic Collection I can select "Computer" - >"Powershell Version" and I can add a value. when entering 1, 2 of 5 I get a list of computers. But I how I can I be sure this is correct?

Where in the computer details can I see what version of powershell is installed? I seem to be unable the find this field in anywhere in the computerdetails.....

  • In the "Computer Details" ,"Computer" page, it's in the "Operating System" section.

The Collection library also has default collections for Powershell 1,2,3,4, and 5.

You could "edit" one of those to see how they're finding that data.

  • Oh I completely missed that!

On all the other 'tabs' you can add a filter, so I added powershell there, went through all the tabs and couldn't find it.
