managing applications licences

Hi,

I am currently creating reports for one of my clients, and i was thinking about a new table in pdq inventory.

This table would be named "licences", maybe with a field like "free/paid/shareware" a field "quantity" and a field "expiration date".

Then we could add a field licenceID to the application table, and link applications to their licence (as many appz names could match the same licence, like there are appz who include their version number in their name, they count as differents apps, but if only the "minor" number differs, it can use the same licence).

It would make easier tokeep only "non free" software on an application report, or to alert the admin when the number of installed software exceed the number of licences, or even when the expiration date approaches.
