Deploy - Endless Deploy Loop how to force stop/clean queue?

I have an endless deploy loop on a package and is freezing PDQ Deploy and there seems to be no obvious way to force kill and clean the deploy queue.

Is there anyway, or do I have to uninstall central server?

Thanks

  • Is that package tied to a schedule? Have you tried restarting the Background Service?

  • It is not tied to a schedule - but I had the package deployed as unlimited tries. I found a global setting in PDQ's configuration that may resolve the issue as it'll timeout and puts the retry at one day.

  • Ah, you're using the Retry Queue! You can view the global Retry Queue by clicking on this page in the main tree:

Or you can see the Retry Queue for a specific package by clicking on its Retry Queue tab:

  • The problem is that PDQ freezes and ram usage exceeds 2GB on a Server w/ 16gb RAM and makes it impossible to stop, or delete. :(

I Changed the date on the server to the future to see if it'd force halt and stop after changing the settings.

  • How many deployments has it created? 2 GB is definitely higher than it should be.
