Run PDQ Deploy on target computer in Safe Mode

Is it possible to push out a package to a computer while it is in safe mode? I have a cleanup tool that I want to run on a computer but the tool requires the computer to be in safe mode to run. I created a step in the package to reboot the computer into safe mode automatically but once it's in safe mode, the PDQ Deploy server never reconnects to the target computer. Is there a way around this that anyone can think of? Thanks.
