Add computer manually by ip but after initial scan it goes offline

I added a computer successfully using it's IP address. It finds the target machine and the initial scans runs without issue, and the name of the computer is updated, and all other details are populated into their appropriate fields. I go to scan the target machine again and its says it's offline. 

I can ping the target machine with no problem. 

Please help.
