Request - Dynamic Collection Filtering Using PowerShell

I do enjoy the dynamic collections, but it would be really sweet if there was an option to use PowerShell to filter the collection. I've noticed using the current system that it can slow down when editing a collection when too many filters are being used. PowerShell might be able to address that and would give the end user even more control.
