BUG - vanishing custom fields with text value

Hi,

Recently i've experienced a problem with vanishing custom fields. By vanishing i mean they are disappearing from computer tab (values are not lost).

After fast investigation:

  • It started to occure after applying the latest update
  • The fields are vanishing after changing their values
  • The problem occures in fields with Text values
  • Problem can be fixed by restarting PDQ Inventory (i work in client mode)

Example below:

 

I have also a question. I am using the deployment schedules along with pdq inventory collection membership conditions. What will happen if i move the collection to different place on inventory tree ? Will this affect the schedule ?

    Moving collections will not break anything. Schedules reference collections by ID, and the ID does not change when you move it.
