Edge updates
Were seeing an issue with Edge updates. If the computer we send the update to happens to have pending Windows updates then the edge update package will uninstall Edge and then hang. It never installs the newer version of Edge. So the update fails and the target PC ends up with Edge uninstalled. This is obviously a problem since when the computer finally does do it's Windows updates that were pending we now do not know that this computer still needs the Edge update because PDQ no longer shows this computer as needing the Edge update because it's not installed now. Is there some way to change the installer so that it checks to see if there are pending Windows updates on the target machine before beginning the uninstall of Edge? It would be helpful if the installer would just fail out and stop before uninstalling Edge if it's not going to be able to install the Edge update anyway.

Are you seeing the same problem wit the new Chromium based version?
It's been a couple of months so I'm not certain now but we've been using chromium Edge since it released so I think yes. These last two or three updates haven't done this to us but that could just be because I got lucky and there weren't pending Windows updates at the time of the Edge install.
ok, then, check back if anything changes.
