Ping before deploy - clients stuck on 'Pinging...'

Hi,

We have a mixed IPV4 and IPV6 deployment. Most deployments work fine, but there are always stuck client which say 'Pinging'   These clients are almost certainly offline.

These remain on pinging forever, or until a deployment is set to timeout. If a deploy is set to deploy forever (based on PDQ inventory collection, i.e. until the collection empties) then multiple tasks will overlap trying to ping the same clients.

There seems to be an issue with PDQ pinging in a mixed IPV4 and IPv6 environment...

The result of this is that soon the max number of simultaneous clients is reached and all new/added deployments cease until I manually abort many stuck clients, which are stuck on 'Pinging...'
