report of machines added between dates?

I see inventory shows a field called "added" is there a way to report on this? I am not seeing anything except the AD Created which seems almost useless since it appears to keep the original date even if a new machine with the same name replaces it. I am trying to find all machines added since a certain date to see if my help desk is following the rules for naming since our last notification.

The field is called "Date Added" in reports and collections.

Ok somehow I totally missed that. If I had seen it there's a chance I might have confused it with "add to PDQ inventory" so thanks for the clarification.

This actually does appear to be the date added to inventory not the date added to AD. Oh well.
