How to handle software nonMSI removals that say they succeed but don't?

I am running into situations multiple times were I go to remove a program through inventory that was not installed via MSI and the uninstall appears to run and I get a result code of zero but the program remains. My latest attempt was qbittorrent which is most annoying since thats a nono on the company PC. Is there another way to achieve these removals?

  • Installers and uninstallers almost always need 1 or more parameters to run silently. The most common one is /S, but there are many others. You may have to look at the program's documentation.

  • Ok apparently it's past my nap time. I thought I tried that and apparently did not. Works for qbt. Will try it on a couple other stubborn problem apps tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
