Deploying as logged on user

Hi All,

Hows everyone doing?

We are testing PDQ at the mo and trying to run a command after we install software. we use a piece of software called rez and we need to run a batch file that site on a network share.

On my build machine which is fresh, I try the command on there and it says it can't find the drive even though as the user i can see the drives in cmd prompt. I am running the deployment as logged in user but it won't work.

Has anyone had this happen as well?

Many Thanks
Mark

  • If I run a net use command from the script as the logged in user, it says:

    New connections will be remembered.

There are no entries in the list.

  • You could copy the batch file locally and execute it from the local machine.

  • Stand down, it's all sorted. The machine had fallen off the domain.

Thanks for you help though Mike
