Is there a way to email a report when a collection has an object?

Hello,

I am new to PDQ Inventory and so far it is great. I created a Collection for all PCs that do not have bitlocker enabled and I am wondering if there is a way to send me an email with the PCs that do not have it enabled so that whenever it scans and picks up a PC with no bitlocker protection I will know right away. I tried to check the KB but didn't see anything.

Thank you in advance,

D

  • This is a bit of a kludge, but it might work.

    • Configure Deploy's Notifications. Reports --> Notifications.
    • Create a package that doesn't do anything, such as a Command step with just "@ECHO OFF".
    • Create a Schedule. For your Trigger, use an Interval set to something short like Every 1 minute. For Targets, select the Collection you created. For Packages, attach the do-nothing package. For Options, set Notifications to the Notification you configured, and enable "Stop deploying to targets once they succeed".
