Windows 10 May update (21H1)

Anyone know how to build a collection based on the new update? Unfortunately, Microsoft didn't iterate the release number like they have in the past. The latest version, even installed from the latest ISO, is still release 2009.

I know where to read it in the registry for the DisplayVersion, but I don't want to have to do a registry scan for this. Thoughts?

Thanks!

  • I recommend using 'O/S Version'. 20H2 is 10.0.19042, 21H1 is 10.0.19043.

  • Thanks Colby! I should've seen that earlier.

  • 19.3.42.0 (currently a Nightly) changes SP / Release to a text field. You have to re-scan your targets, but SP / Release will actually show "21H1" now. Also, collections for 21H1 were added to the Collection Library.

Personally, I wish they would have added a new field instead of changing the behavior of an existing field (which could break people's collections).
