Office 2019 with 2013 and Visio uninstall

Hi there, getting ready to deploy a 2019 KMS ProPlus installation while removing exe installed 2013 and Visio. Ive created the OCT xml and have downloaded the ODT tool as well. Im kind of confused how this KMS installation will get activated. Is there something im missing?

Do you have a KMS/Volume Licensing server in the environment? If so, there is a DNS entry that machines will query for activation.

We do not have one.

You won't be able to activate with a KMS key then. You'll need to use a MAK key.

I read up a little bit on setting up a KMS server in our environment. How does the software activate? Will I need to login in and launch one of these apps?

After the Office installation with an working KMS Server you/the User, only have to start one of the Office Apps and the activation will run automaticly.
