Inventory/Deploy - Read-only access to consoles without license?

We've several licensed users, which is fine, but have a host of helpdesk people for whom it doesn't make sense they have a full license but who'd benefit from read-only visibilty of everything within Inventory and perhaps Deploy.

Is this possible? It'd be good if this was a free perk or if each paid license came with 1,3, or 5 read-only licenses or something.
