Getting Environment Variable into Custom Field or allowing specific environment variable to be added as a column

Is there anyway to report against a specific Environment Variable e.g. create Dynamic Collections against?  Or a way to export environment variable into a custom field.

We have an environment variable named Merchant on every PC that holds a value or a store location, would like to be able to create Dynamic Collections based on this.  I can see it reported on in the Environment Scan but cannot use it.
