Dynamic Collection for Service Status

Hi all. I'm trying to create a collection based on the status of two services. I would like the collection to contain only computers that have at least one of the services stopped. This is what I have set up:

The initial collection seems to work fine. The problem is when both of the services are started, the computers are not removed from the collection after they are scanned. What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks!

  • The status in PDQ Inventory would only change after the services are scanned again.

  • Correct, as stated above, the computers are not being removed from the collection even after the services are running and the computers have been scanned.

  • By chance, do you have more than one service that starts with Cisco?

  • Yes, that's right. I am trying to filter the group based on two services. Again, this was stated in my original post.

  • You might try building two dynamic collections...one for each service explicitly.

  • Or add another Value Filter

  • Do the computers get removed if you refresh the console (F5)?

  • I figured it out, I was running the wrong scan. Need to run a standard scan to scan the services. Duh
