Self Service Portal

I know people have asked the same question before and I know you guys had something but you removed it as you had issues.

I trying to see if anyone has either created their own self service portal or could give me some hints where to start. I have a pipeline team here who are Python developers that I could use but they can't fit my job in for a while.
