Closing Chrome as an install step?

Good afternoon!

We have an application plug-in that we're trying to install remotely.  If you run it locally, it wants to shut down Chrome.  It won't shut down Chrome on an deployment, so is there a way to add "Shutdown Chrome" as the first step?  Google gave me too much extra noise in the search.  Thanks!
