User-created tools description

Hey guys! I just watched today's Tips & Tricks webcast, and "W.F." asked the question "Will we ever be able to add a description to tools that we have created?"

I'm thinking to myself while I watched this, "Hey, there's a description box there already, DUH!". Turns out, while there's text there for the built-in tools, there's no way to add text for user created tools. Since there's obviously already a database field for this, wouldn't it be a pretty simple step to add this to the client, even if it's in the next-gen version?

Did you ever get an answer for this?

It would be useful for us to have descriptions on Tools (like Scans) because we often set both up for our Help Desk Techs to use.

If you wanted to be a little sneaky, you could try manually adding the description in the database. I know this wouldn't be supported, but I *THINK* it should work.
