Application Filter

the Application version filter does not work as expected. trying to filter lower than 20.2.90.12.

But it's not working. Any help much appreciated.

  • If you instead use the 'Version Lower Than' comparison, do you receive the expected results? Also helps to run the filters in a report with the same application columns selected to see what the version results actually are. You may have other Autodesk components installed containing 'Autodesk Revit 2020', so using an Equals comparison on the name may also help to eliminate any false positives.

  • I tried all the above. it was worked well and I updated the software recently and the result went wrong.

  • Create a Basic Report with the application name filter "Contains > Revit" instead, the Application Name and Version columns selected, and run it against all your machines. This should give you a better idea of what is needed to accomplish your goal in the collection.
