Reboot after App Install

We're deploying an app that requires a reboot after it is installed.  We have put the reboot step in after it finishes but the installation hangs at a window telling the machine that it has to reboot and we don't get a successful result to move on to the reboot step.  How can we fix this?

    On the install commandline, is there an option to just reboot and suppress the dialog?
