Reboot Fails to Connect to Service Manager

We are using PDQ Deploy to push Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades to our devices.  When the Windows 11 upgrade step completes, we initiate a reboot to finalize the configuration.  Because the update process takes many minutes to complete, the reboot step always fails after 2 minutes with the error "Failed to connect to the service manager".  Other than setting the Error Mode to Continue, is there anything else I can do to extend the amount of time PDQ tries to reconnect to the service manager?  Thanks!

  • Instead of a "reboot" step, do a command or powershell step that reboots it.

Then do a "Sleep" step, which has a configurable amount of time to wait, unlike the reboot step.
