Could not access network location \Hewlett-Packard\\

During an installation of PDQ Deploy or PDQ Inventory, if you receive the error "Could not access network location \Hewlett-Packard\\" then there is a bad registry value that was left behind from Hewlett Packard (most likely from an OEM image).

To resolve this problem open your registry (regedit.exe) and navigate to the following path.

If you are on a 32-bit system:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

64-bit system:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Delete the InstallLocation value and reattempt the installation. The screenshot below is taken from a 32-bit system.
