Purpose:
You receive error code 5100 when attempting a deployment.
Resolution:
This error typically occurs with .NET installations or the Windows Software Development Kit (SDK). The error indicates, "The user's computer does not meet system requirements" or, "A StopBlock was hit or a System Requirement was not met."
Ensure that the system meets the minimum system requirements, is fully patched, and includes all required Service Pack updates.
This issue can also occur when you install the Windows SDK on a computer that has a newer version of the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable installed. The Windows SDK installs version 10.0.30319 of the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable.
