The user name or password is incorrect when targeting an OU container (PDQ Deploy Schedule)

Purpose

PDQ Deploy schedule reports "The user name or password is incorrect" when targeting an OU container to deploy to.

Resolution

1. In your schedule, use the "Change Domain" option when selecting the OU container to target, in order to edit the domain settings and uncheck the "Current User" option and select a user account that has appropriate permissions to query the domain.
2. Close and reopen the PDQ Deploy client.
3. In your schedule, delete all the OU containers specified and readd them.

Notes

By default, when a PDQ Deploy schedule that targets an OU container runs, it will use the default credential listed in PDQ Deploy menu bar > Options > Credentials to query the domain for the computers that exist in the OU container if the "Current User" option is enabled in the domain settings.
