Creating dynamic collections in PDQ Inventory for different Windows 10 builds

I see PDQ offers a default Windows 10 32/64 bit collection in PDQ Inventory but stops short of the build numbers. I'd like to also have a dynamic collection for the various Win10 builds but am hitting a wall at the moment.

I know the registry path, value name and what the value should be but the collection always shows zero results. What am I doing wrong?

  • Wow, I was really making this much more complicated than I needed. Thanks!

  • We do offer collections for each build, they're just a little buried. "Collection Library\Windows Updates\Workstations\Windows 10".

  • hey,

I can not find the build collection for the 20H2. When I try to create the collection by myself with SP / Release number, it does not work since it should be only numbers.

So how could I do create that then ?

    thanks

  • 20H2 is 2009.

  • It seems that the Version 21H1 has also the Version Number 2009 (PDQ Inventory 19.3.36.0)

  • You'll have to update to 19.3.42.0 (currently a Nightly). https://help.pdq.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360078116332/comments/360015563252
