Inventory Powershell replaced with CMD

I recently noticed that the Powershell window when running tools has been replaced with a CMD window. The server hosting the PDQ installation has since been rebooted. For the most part, this is not a problem but a couple of my tools now throw up errors. I can copy the script and change it slightly to specify a certain computer, as opposed to using one of the built-in PDQ variables, and it works fine. I can also go to 'Help' then select 'Open an elevated Powershell prompt' and it works as it should. I got one of my colleagues to try it from their computer, and it does the same thing.

Any suggestions on things I can try? Enterprise mode

  • It looks like you found a bug! I have opened an internal bug ticket for this. I have no ETA on when this will be fixed.

  • Can you send screenshots of the issue you're having and exports of the problematic tools to please? We were able to reproduce part of the issue, but not all of it.

  • Apologies for not replying sooner. I didn't get any emails to say that there was a response. I will put something together and send it off.
